Paradise in Bloom was painted from a still life of birds of paradise and alstroemeria flowers that my husband brought home on our anniversary. Birds of Paradise always make me smile. I remember the first time I saw one. I was a teenager at the time and marvelled at how they bloom unlike any other flower.

DETAILS: Made with professional quality acrylic paint on canvas wrapped on a back stapled wooden frame. The sides are painted dark. Finished with a gloss varnish to help protect the artwork from damage and dust
